I am a woman, wife, and mother living and breathing deeply in Richland, Washington...truth be told, I wish I was a cowgirl on the open range around the year 1875...tending crops and raising chit'lins (thats youngsters for all you city folks)...

but alas, I was born in this modern time....

So I will use my current incarnation wisely...I am a nurturer...I am driven to encourage others to find their true potential...to inspire...to motivate...to find the humor in every day things so that we can all laugh until we pee a little bit (all the pregnant ladies know what I'm talking about)...

I have so many interests and things I'm driven to do, that sometimes focusing on one talent is frustrating and I grow impatient to begin another...

Hence the Dabble in Dabblefly.....I have made dabbling an art...a way of life....so when I stumbled upon doula'ness, I felt like I hit the jack pot....there is no limit to what I can apply to this service...not only can I read every book on baby sleep, but also research home remedies for constipation...and lets not forget - curing hiccups in a toddler...and mastering photo manipulation so that I can make awesome birth announcements....

I'm set for life...I think with some clever wording and a little persistence, I can convince my husband that all the crazy classes I want to take are "truly" related to my business...(pssst...just between you and me...I know he loves how versatile I am, but he prefers a tad more focus...and this is why I love him....for keeping me on track)...

My Vision

The more I parent, the more I know I can't do it alone...I envision a time and place where all parents, babies and families are raised together...where young girls and boys grow up surrounded by families raising babies...where breastfeeding is the norm, all babies are carried, and birth is a natural challenge and transformative process...not a disease or crisis...

My intention is to guide and support today's families along their journey...to help them realize their personal vision of a quality family life and home.
